In order for me to complete your DreamTime Pet Portrait, I will need a photograph or high-resolution digital picture (600 dpi or more) of your animal companion in a pose that appeals to you. Ideal examples are standing, sitting, or lying down with the full body in view, or if you'd like a head-portrait only, the head and upper body alone are fine. Feel free to send several images if you'd like me to choose the one that lends itself best to the DreamTime process.

The picture should be taken against a background which contrasts as much as possible with the animal's color - for example, a dark-colored animal should be photographed against a light background, and vice versa, to allow me to remove the background and add artistic effects.

JPG, GIF, BMP, and TIF images are all fine, but please no proprietary art program files, as I may not have that program on my computer. If you wish to send photographs through the mail for me to scan, that's fine as well, and I will send them back to you along with the completed portrait. However, I cannot be responsible for photographs that may get lost in the mail, so be aware of the possibility before you send an irreplaceable keepsake.

Completed portrait will be e-mailed to you as a small JPG file for your final approval, and then printed out for mailing as an 8x10" image which will fit into a standard photo frame. (If you prefer another size, I will try to accomodate this - just let me know.) If you prefer, I can mail you a CD with the image file instead of a print-out.

DreamTime Pet Portraits are $25 a piece plus $2.50 postage within the U.S., $6.50 outside the U.S.. Postage is already calculated into the PayPal buttons below, so be sure to select "U.S." or "International" according to your location.
